We're three weeks away from the first official Habari gathering. We've gone through several titles for it, but in the end settled on "Habari Party" because, in the end, the goal of this project is to have fun creating the best dang blogging engine out there.
 
Habari Party 2009 will be taking place in Columbus, OH on September 12, 2009 at the <a href="http://www.downtowntechcenter.com/index.html">Downtown Technology Center</a>. The schedule is loosely planned to have the morning sessions dedicated to Habari development. Coding, planning and mapping out the next steps are all on the agenda. The afternoon sessions will be geared at community development, including introductions for those who are new to Habari and ideas for those who are currently looking to increase their participation in the Habari Community.
 
We'll follow this up in the evening with an informal get-together for food and drinks and a chance to get to know each other face-to-face.
